Since its foundation in Prague in 1961, Black Light Theatre of Jiri Srnec has been among the best known representatives of the Czech dramatic art in the world.
Founder of the theatre, Mr. Jiri Srnec did not only invent the name "Black Light Theatre" but he was also the first who combined black velvet, special luminescent colors and UV lights on the stage.
It was under his leadership, the company gained its world fame. And therefore we can truly call the black light theatre, Jiri Srnec's theatre.
