Extreme Sports - Documentaries - HISTORY CHANNEL

Extreme sports (likewise called activity sporting activities, aggro sporting activities, and daring sports) is a prominent term for certain activities perceived as having a high degree of intrinsic risk. These activities often involve rate, height, a high level of bodily exertion, as well as very specialized equipment.

The definition of a severe sport is not exact and the origin of the term is unclear, but it gained popularity in the 1990s when it was picked up by marketing business to promote the X Games when the Extreme Sports Stations and also Extreme.com launched.
